As the clock continues to tick on Brexit, the UK is shaping up to be innovator friendly post Brexit.  The UK Life Sciences Industry Strategy published last month identifies a number of opportunities and goals for growing the sector in a post Brexit world. The UK's Supreme Court has recently introduced a broad doctrine of equivalence which favours patentees and the EU review on the Supplementary Protection Certificate regulations - still awaited and likely to propose limitations on current SPC protection may introduce changes to those regulations but only post Brexit.   Both these were topics covered at the C5 Life Sciences IP Summit in Munich this week.
